Earning Cash Back

  1. Members will earn “Cash Back” for Purchases (defined below) made at participating merchants.
  2. Cash Back will be accumulated at the rate of:
    1. Two (2) percent Cash Back per every one (1) United States Dollar of Purchases charged to the Member's enrolled credit card.
    2. Cash Back accumulated for other banking relationships, products or services are determined at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.
  3. Cash Back earnings are based on the “Net Purchase Amount,” (i.e., Purchases less credits, returns and adjustments) charged to the Rewards Card during each day by the Member. Net Purchase Amount are rounded to the nearest dollar on the last day of the month and are subject to verification. If a transaction is subject to verification or billing dispute, the Cash Back value of the transaction may be deducted from the Cash Back total during the verification or dispute period. If the transaction is reinstated, Cash Back value will be reinstated.
  4. "Purchases" do not include balance transfers; cash advances; quasi-cash transactions such as traveler’s checks, foreign currency, gift cards or money orders; returned merchandise; ATM transactions; any checks that access the Member’s account; overdraft advances; earned interest; unauthorized or fraudulent charges; betting that includes lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, off-track betting and wager; or fees of any kind, including an annual fee, if applicable.
  5. Merchant Funded Cash Back (AMPRE). Members can earn additional Cash Back from participating merchants when using their Rewards Card for Purchases at participating AMPRE merchants, both online and in-store. Cash Back earnings may vary based upon the merchant. Each participating AMPRE merchant's Cash Back earning ratio is listed on the Program Website.
By registering on the Program Website, Members may opt-in to receive all future AMPRE correspondence and notices electronically to the email address provided. Email is the primary method for contacting Members regarding their participation in the Program. It is the Member's responsibility to update or change their email address on file. This can be done on the Program Website.
New merchant offers are updated periodically. Unless otherwise indicated, there is not a limit to the number of times a Member can earn Cash Back for shopping at an AMPRE merchant.
  6. In the event of fraud, abuse of Program privileges, violation of the Program rules (including any attempt to sell, exchange or transfer Cash Back or the instrument exchangeable for Cash Back), or other reason determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion, Sponsor reserves the right to suspend or terminate any Member’s participation or membership in the Program. In the event of suspension or termination, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, reallocate or revoke any Cash Back received through Member’s use or participation in the Program.
  7. Cash Back may not be combined with any other loyalty/frequency reward program.
  8. The Sponsor reserves the right to award additional or bonus Cash Back to any Member based upon any activity, promotion, or condition it decides.
  9. Cash Back is not the property of the Member, and cannot be bought, sold, assigned, or transferred in any way (including upon death or as part of a domestic relations matter) unless otherwise required by law or court of competent jurisdiction.
  10. Cash Back is tracked and redeemable on a first-in, first-out basis. Cash Back will expire on the last day of the month, three (3) years after the date of accumulation.
  11. Neither the Sponsor nor the Administrator shall have any liability regarding any claim, dispute, or other disagreement between or among Members regarding Cash Back or the Program. Notwithstanding the above, Sponsor shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to make final determinations and decisions regarding any and all Cash Back discrepancies, including, but not limited to, reallocation or revocation of any such Cash Back.
